Millpond Ink Musing, 2015 – Of Words and Meaning

When words are applied meaninglessly in a society; such as to make a pledge; take an oath, or promise to do one thing or another, then nothing of integrity or honor remains. The foundation has rotted, and no matter what form of Government or economic structure, it will soon collapse. Such occurs when the shake of men’s hands is taken as a wink and sly smile. Therein is seen the cultural exchange of a sinful and perverse nation that knows not God and the veracity of His Word.
