Conversation – Return from Burwell

Return from Burwell

PLOT

After traveling to Burwell, England to preach in a country church, Charles returned late Friday night to his home in London. The next morning, he was in the parlor meditating on his sermon for the next day, “A Revival Promise,” which is based on Isaiah 44:3-5. Charles’ wife, Susie, has not seen him the past two days, and she is eager to find out how his trip to Burwell went and what he planned to preach the next day.

SCRIPTURES CITED

Isaiah 44:3-5

“For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring: and they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses. One shall say, I am the Lord’s; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the Lord, and surname himself by the name of Israel.”
