Charles Haddon Spurgeon preached October 10, 1875, at the Metropolitan Tabernacle. In his sermon, he talks about the death of Henry Olney, a dear friend and brother of Elder William Olney. Such is the providence of God that Henry passed away suddenly, a relatively healthy man. On the other hand, his brother, William, had been ill for some years and was expected to die on several occasions. When I read this sermon, and decided to conclude the LOOK! Series with it, I did because I had the impression that Pastor Spurgeon was preaching about himself. Then again, when dear friends and brothers in Christ do pass away, I wonder if there is a difference.
