Charles Haddon Spurgeon preached ‘The Power of the Holy Ghost’ on June 17, 1855, in the New Park Street Chapel. Based on Romans 15:13 “The power of the Holy Ghost,” In this sermon, we learn about the outward and visible displays of his power. Then we learn about the inward spiritual power of the Holy Ghost who indwells us, and then the future and desired affects of His power and might! Ought we know these things if the Holy Ghost indwells us? 

MY THOUGHT: Within the first six of the Modern Whitfield Series, Pastor Spurgeon focused on the Holy Ghost. Truly, a trifecta of learning about the third person of the blessed Trinity. Here we can learn: (1) who the Holy Ghost is, (2) his role and purpose, and then finally, (3) to understand the manifestations of his power throughout the world and within us.
