In The Calm

Oh, to know the peace of God,
that surpasses understanding.
We say such peace exists, but…
Does it? Really? Yes. 

If only we could learn to rest, recline
within the bosom of the Father,
then, perhaps, we’d rest indeed,
and find our souls in the calm.
