No Greater Calling

There is no greater calling than to hear the call of God to serve His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, even as God – in his calling – will send His Holy Spirit to empower those whom He has called in the doing of His glorious will.

Our God does not leave us destitute. He is not a general who – staying behind – sends his army to capture some distant hill. No. Those who are enlisted in his army marched down from that distant hill, captured… yes, on Calvary. The victory is won. We march to share that most glorious fact.
