Millpond Ink Musing, 2015 – Satan’s Ruse
Today in the Wall Street Journal I read, ‘liberals are targeting religion.’ Interesting. You know, in the eyes of men, Satan always has had his back doors. Religion is one, and it has always been his greatest ruse. Satan knows his true foe: God, the Creator and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ. However, while targeting his hatred for the true believers and converts as a subset of ‘religion’ as the world sees it, he will bring down the whole of religion if only to mock those who fell for his ‘spiritual spiels,’ which catered to man’s pride and idolatry.
The non-believers, such as include the so-called ‘liberals’ and atheists who believe only in the estate and progress of man, they’re dead men walking. Check out Eph. 2:1-3.
The point is, the true believer and lover of our Lord Jesus, I pray for us that as Elisha’s servant our eyes are opened for it is indeed a violent struggle between powers and principalities, and if not us, who has the eyes to see? And if not us, who shall speak? If not us, then who? The rocks? Yes, even as our own were and turned to flesh.
