Millpond Ink Musing, 2015 – Of Sin and Apples

There are many who will fall as Eve. Once tempted, our conscience argues we shall surely die if we do such and such. Then comes the soothing words of the serpent, ‘No you won’t,’ and because our desire to taste exceeds our desire not to bite, what do we do? We bite! And once bitten? We might as well eat the whole. Hence the worm that never dies.
