Some might have thought the Apostle Paul was naive when he told us that the love of Christ loved and hoped all things, but when he added ‘endured?’ That was the word added that brought heavenly realism to our earthly call. Yes, we are to continue in love and hope, but we must also steel ourselves to endure rejection and possible suffering.
