Millpond Ink Musing – David’s Heart and Our Imagination

When King David wrote in Ps. 8:3, “when I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained: What is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you visit him?” Can you see him lying on his back in a pasture, beside the still waters and gazing into a brilliant, star lit night? Can you feel his heart beat; a heart said… to chase, as a distant meteor through the heavens, the heart of God? I can. Can you?”

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” Mat. 22:37 And with regard to our minds, would this not include our imagination?
