Millpond Dart, 2015 – Edification

“Well, if you ask me,” a man asserted when he read Romans 15:2, ‘Let every one of us please his neighbor for his good to edification,’ “I have a problem with that verse.”

“Oh?” replied the Sunday School Teacher. “Why?”

“We’re told not to tempt others to sin, right?”

“Yes. Go on,” the teacher asked but cautiously.

“Take you for example; anything edifying that I’ve ever said about you went right to your head. Everyone here knows it.” He explained and looked around.

While chuckles were heard scattered across the classroom, the teacher hurriedly ended the session. “Well, next week, we’ll be covering the gift of charity.”
