Tell Me if it’s a Hit or Miss!
What I find disturbing today is that we’re living in a culture where people are easily offended and expect a quick apology. However, when it comes to discussing the offense that a holy and righteous God takes against a man’s sin, the same man often scoffs and is slow to forgive; even though he might have sought God’s forgiveness at some time or another. When, and if he did, he expects grace to be shown immediately. I marvel when I watch this happen. It doesn’t bother me as much when I know the offender is a sinner. It’s a matter of conscience, and what’s left of it. However, when a professed Christian behaves this way? He or she should read Matthew 6:9-13.
