If and when I write,
what I say may seem confusing.
Am I imbalanced?
Perhaps, but
who isn’t when they’re on unsteady ground?
Unsteady, you ask?
Of course. We all are – admit it.
We know less of each others’ motives
than we can know the future,
Yet, they are intricately tied –
Oh, that’s right!
Our relationships are ‘complicated.’
Nevertheless, whether honest or not,
we are inexorably connected one to another,
and whether by cause or reaction,
our actions hang out in full view,
as laundry… in the balance
a balance unsteady,
especially where the lives of two people converge.
