Goosebumps Are A Godly Ripple Too

“If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath; All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.” Job 34:14-15

For the past several weeks I have meditated of the wonders of my creation and creator. Before, I have shared Isaiah 57:15, “For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place…” Yes, God inhabits eternity; which is outside of time and dimension as we understand it. He is holy, meaning ‘set apart in all His Being: His righteousness, wisdom, knowledge, power… Yes, He even dwells on the high and holy place; a location itself that is set apart; above all creation…. time, space, and some men say there are upward to ten dimensions.

We live in the third lowest of rings; assuming we were to look at the multiple dimensions above ours in the context of an expanding yet downward ripple effect. It is as if God above all in His holy dwelling dropped what was to Him a simple command that contained within it all the science, math, physics, creative materiel necessary to bring about all matter, beauty and design. Above, below and within us, we can behold the marvel of God’s creative design ability, engineering and power source: His Spirit.

The Apostle Paul spoke of the unseen powers and principalities that exist. Angels are created, eternal beings, and given their proximity to God’s throne in Isaiah, Chapter Six, I would say that they had access for appearance in the highest and first ripple; not above or below the place that God dwells, but around, not within. Of course, we know too that those beings that rebelled were cast out, and as I envision it, downward through the dimensional cascade; falling far from God. I imagine that hell is at the opposing end of where God resides; a created place of darkness and eternal recollection of angelic and human wickedness; possibly of only one dimension for all time; called ‘here’.

As for the verse in Job that I quoted: Consider what is revealed in Elihu’s observation, and I paraphrase: If God set His heart upon our sin and did not provide a means for our salvation, then He would be just to gather His Spirit and His breath unto Himself; back towards His dwelling above all creation. That would result in a contraction of the ripple into our space and time; a repeal of His love and mercy to be shown later to us through the Messiah. It would be a reversal of the current expansion of the universe that scientists observe of our universe and dimension; a suctioning out of what God gave in our birth. As a result, all men would perish together and return to dust. If so, God would have aborted His plan.

However, hallelujah, that is not case. Why? Because God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. God, who is both just and justifier of those who call upon His name: “To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” Rom. 3:26
