Prayer. Do we pray? I suppose that depends on our intimacy with Jesus and our heavenly Father. When we pray, do we expect God to answer? C.H. Spurgeon preaches this sermon based on Psalms 86:6-7,  “Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.” Personally, I do not pray as I ought to pray. As a matter of fact, recording this sermon has truly encouraged me to pray more frequently, and to do so in faith. After reading about C.H. Spurgeon’s life, and his relationship with his wife, Susie, I have been emboldened. I pray you shall too.
